Wideloads Fitted Mesh Butt 1.2 release & Fusion Update

Continuing our ongoing commitment to bringing you the very best products on the market I am please to announce the release of  Wideloads V1.2.

For 1.2 we have extensively looked at the way the textures seat so they are as smooth and realistic as they can be.
In addition we have also included a new “Pants Flare” extra piece.

The most important update is the release of a Fusion Ready Lower Body for each of the Wideloads, so now you can, using the Fusion Mesh bodies, have a seamless lower body with no windlight issues.

If you choose to buy a Fusion Body, all you need to do is wear the relevant Wideloads Fusion Torso and Legs modules and the body is now wearing seamless and windlight independent Wideloads!
See the Polymorph Studio for more details on Fusion & how it works.
Just wear your updater to get the latest versions.

vString Revolution Helium Release & 4.2 Update to all models

This is now the third major update to the Revolutions showing our continued commitment to bringing you the very best implants on the market.
Firstly, I need to introduced the Revolution Heliums.

These are massively oversized implants with three different versions for you to play with and come with all the features you know and love, plus all the new features of the new 4.2 Update.

Talking on the 4.2 Update.
This new release is all about the refinement of the Revolutions.

Skin & Bra: One issue that has always been a serious issue for me as a design was how texture mapping behaved especially when it came to the Evo / Revo Chest plate design. Since V4.0 was released, thanks to other projects my designing method and knowledge has been refined. For V4.2, you will find the skin has come in for massive refinement with smooth, flowing and pin point texture seating, not to mention the fact the biggest headache - the nipple area, is not pinpoint accurate
and smooth. In addition, we have now moved the classic “stand off” bra with a skin tight version that seats perfectly to the breasts.
Nipples: On V4, we introduced our second generation smart nipples and texturing to refine our the Revolutions. However, customers still wanted more control. On previous  versions the skins nipple texturing issues meant it was best to “hide” the original skin nipple area, however with the skin refinement work, thats no longer needed.
For V4.2 there are now two new nipple options - The original vString “nub” design, and the option to completely hide the prim nipple and piercing work!
Extra Control: On 4.2 the tops menu has been expanded. You will now find the Bra Overrider is relocated from Extras to Tops. You will also find the Tattoo Layer / Bra Layer button  which allows you to run the bra either as a permanent Tattoo layer (never turns off).

So, that the main vString Revolution update – but there is more.
The Shock of this model is a new box inside the sales folder named Revolution Fusions. Inside this box, you will find your Revolutions breast choices, but oddly as a whole chest and neck.

These are designed as interchangeable modules for Violet Studios new Mesh Body system - Fusion.

If you choose to buy a Fusion Body, all you need to do is wear the relevant Chest and nipple modules and the body is now wearing seamless and windlight independent Revolutions!
See the Polymorph Studio for more details on Fusion & how it works.

Just wear your updater to get the latest versions.

vString Revolution V4 & Petites and Salines

I am very proud to announce the arrival of the very first Version 4 vStrings and jumping to the top of the list was the Revolutions.
Although these were Revolutionary, they did have some minor error, quirks and the odd bug on the original 3.5's.
For Version 4, we have cleaned up and tightened all the Top layer, Introduced our Second Generation Smart Nipples system (coming for the Essentials later this month too), created a whole new generation of higher quality detailed nipples textures on the designer hud system and you now have 5 piercings to choose from.
Of course, this isnt the whole story - the original Naturals and Silicones have on a case by case basis, been tweeked, adjusted, reworked, cleaned and there has been several script functionality improvements such as the Bra Overrider now working with pasties and a new UV Top to Bra Function so you can on the fly choose if you want to fit a UV Top to the bra layer instead.

However there is more in the form of two entirely new sets of Revolutions.
The Petites are small... in fact very small implants designed for those customers wanting that different look without having to put up with the SL avatars poor choices.

You get three choices - the Melons (shown above), the Cutes (a smaller very natural set) and the Puffy's with larger puffy upturned nipples.

Sitting inbetween the Naturals and the Silicones is the new Salines.
Designed for a more realistic size of implant these feature some interesting twists on similar ideas. You get the Gravity - a larger slightly hanging breast, The Uplifts (shown below) - a popular choice from the Essentials and the Squish - a rather full but not massively full rounder implant model.

The New Revolution models are now available in store.
If you already own the Naturals or the Silicones, simply wear the updater in the breast folders, and you will be sent the new models.

Enjoy!

vString X-Moo's (finally) Available / vString Main Store moved

Back in 2010, I was fiddling around with the very first prototype vStrings - this was nearly a year before vString even appeared as a brand, and Dande from Hanabi Worxx issues me with a fun building challenge.
Build a Cow.
Well, cutting that long story short, in a month she had her cow in her store... and mine did its usual with me and got way out of hand.

Fast forward near enough 4 years, and finally the vString X-Moo's are now available in store.

Demos are in store (more on that in a moment) and here is the marketing shot.

You get the Quad model (shown), and there is a Duo model too. Multiple Nipple designs, and lots of lovely little touches designed to keep most cows on SL happy.
In addition, you also get the Lower Udders too.

On to the next part - As vString slowly expands, its become clear, the original small store we had wasnt cutting it anymore, and with the Moo's arrival, officially, I had run out of space and with many new breasts and accessories due, I needed to move in to a larger store.
Dont worry too much - it isnt actually far from the original store - the other end of the mall - you cant miss it.

Enjoy!

VSXM - 2014 Texture Pack Update - Nearly 60 new Quality textures

As you may have seen Violet Studios has been undergoing some pretty big changes on our skins with the launch of the ADV skin system.
However with new or updates skins comes the need to fill in gaps in the ranges, and clean things up which is where this new texture pack update comes in.

Firstly though, several months ago I started testing and working on a new Advanced series of realistic style skin textures for VSXM. Partly a challenge, partly the need for better design work.
This resulted in a whole new generation of textures that were painstakingly assembled and tested over a few months.
For the first time, even though it has always been a separately configurable item, this ADV pack has separate textures for the testicles.
So, just as our skins got more ADVanced, so did the VSX texture design style.

This update is broken down in to two areas - Human textures and Demon textures.

On the Human side, you are presented with the Ava, Gia, Ori and Dyta ADV textures.
There previously were texture packs for Ava and Gia, however Ori was the orphan of the group never getting a full texture pack, and as Dyta is all new, it is logical it gets the textures too.

In the Demon department, the ADV project created a whole new generation of colour tones as it was developed and released.
Elyssian ADV has jumped from 12 to 22 Colour tones, while Abyss went from 10 to 15.
Both have been reworked, improved and updated with rich and detailed texture designs, with all new bi-tone colouring systems that may not be 100% evidient on first glance, but add great depth.

These texture while designed for Violet Studios skins can be used on male and female skin from other makers too - its a matter of experimenting to see what suits what.

As always, even if I did debate making this a paid for update, these have been released as a Free update to VSXM (yes, it is a VSXM update only - not VSX).
All you need to do is look in the sales folder, find the updater and wear it and you will be sent the 1.1 release for free.
As the Designer HUD's are stand alone items, you dont have to change your primary products or how you have them set up to make this a painless update. Simply wear the new texture hud and off you go.

Enjoy!

vString Revolution Fitted Mesh Breasts

Many moons ago, Linden Labs released Mesh and Rigged Mesh on to the grid, and it was good.
But it didnt take designers long to sit down and say well, this is a bit naff isnt it?

Of course, I refer to Rigged Mesh and its massive amounts of limitations and short falls that left people with conforming clothes that didnt fit unless you actually created 3 or more versions of each product for different sizes.
Customer then had to mess about altering their shape to fit the said products.
And dont even get me started on the limits of completely replacement avatars...

Since then, the designer community has begged and pushed for Linden Lab to create a stable way of actually getting Rigged Mesh items to work with not only the hard skeleton deformers, but also the corresponding soft deformers (such as muscles, boobs, bums etc).
Ironically it took pre-exisiting technology and some very innovative designers on SL to "tweek" that tech and use it for things it shouldn't do.
But the aptly called "Liquid Mesh" didnt offer everything, so when Linden Lab announced they were going to officially adopt the technique and improve it to create the less aptly named "Fitted Mesh", it was a revelation.

Which brings me full circle to the point of the post.

You will now find in the vString Store, the all new vString Revolutions.

The Revolutions are the first Implants on the grid to utilise Fitted Mesh, and to say they are very different from what people are used to with implants is an understatement.
Using forwarding thinking design, the Revolutions compared to traditional implants are rather less that regular vStrings. Many of our usual suspects like Milk, Chains, Resize, and leashing are gone, and other features like the piercings have been cut down to just 2 options.

So far these sound less than perfect, however dont be fooled by the lower spec. This is more than made up for with the way Fitted Mesh works.
Fitment wise, you dont have to do anything - you wear these and no matter what shape you have on, they will instantly conform to your avatar and fit perfectly.
Changing the size is easy. Just as you would edit your avatars shape, the Revolutions use the same system, so to go bigger, you just increase the breast size on the avatar, and you can also change the cleavage and breast buoyancy too.
Finally, and this bit is perhaps the best part. Fitted Mesh utilises Avatar Physics - the same system that makes the standard avatars butt and boobs jiggle and bounce. Yes, for the first time, you can have realistic bouncings and jiggling implants.

Its really difficult to describe these, so check out the demos in store to see what all the hubbub is about.

Dont get overexcited though.
Sadly as I have mentioned before, the most popular viewer on the grid, Firestorm, are not playing ball at the moment. Fitted Mesh as an official standard was released by the Labs on the 10th Feb, however Firestorm have said for reasons unknown, they wont get their Fitted Mesh update out until around the 9th March.
That means if you are on Firestorm or anyone who views you using Firestorm, all thats seen is Spaghetti as the viewer doesnt know what to do with Fitted Mesh.
Oddly though all the major current viewers that are being updated have moved to Fitted Mesh, with the exception of Firestorm. The Official Linden Lab Viewer, Singularity, Kokua and Black Dragon all use Fitted Mesh, so if you want to be up on the latest standard, you will need to use one of those or wait for Firestorm to get the job done.
